India’s top export destinations for cigars, cheroots, cigarillos, and cigarettes in 2023 were:
- Singapore: 31% of exports, or $29 million
- Kuwait: 14.6% of exports, or $13.9 million
- United Arab Emirates: 10.6% of exports, or $10.1 million
- Panama: 8.52% of exports, or $8.12 million
- Bhutan: 7.23% of exports, or $6.89 million
- Belize: 5.67% of exports, or $5.4 million
- Saudi Arabia: 3.54% of exports, or $3.37 million
- Libya: 2.64% of exports, or $2.51 million
- United Kingdom: 2.46% of exports, or $2.34 million
- Sri Lanka: 2.09% of exports, or $1.99 million
India is the second largest exporter of tobacco in the world, after Brazil. In 2022, India exported cigars, cheroots, cigarillos, and cigarettes worth 6.4 billion Indian rupees
